Travelers leaving from London often fly out of Heathrow Airport. Many of these travelers drive to the airport and use the Heathrow Airport Parking options for maximum convenience.

Long stay parking is available for all travelers who plan to be gone a few days or more. There are three official long-stay lots on the grounds, which serve Terminals 1 and 3, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5. These lots are open year round and offer a free courtesy coach service that runs every ten to twelve minutes. There are stringent security measures in these carparks including security patrols, fencing and closed circuit TV monitoring.

Heathrow Airport Parking in Depth

The business option at Heathrow Airport parking is closer to the airport than the long stay car parks, just like an arrangement found in Newcastle Airport Parking. The complimentary bus services to the business lots are quicker and buses run more frequently. Like the long stay lots, there are three business car parks which offer parking for Terminals 1 and 3, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5, and these lots are also protected by stringent security measures.

Short stay parking is located next to each of the terminals. These lots are recommended for short stays, since parking here is more expensive than other lots. This is the perfect place to park if you are planning on dropping off or picking up an airline passenger and need to park for a short period of time. Like the other parking options, the short stay parking areas are monitored by CCTV, fencing and security patrols.

For the most convenient service, Heathrow Airport parking also has valet service, which has beaten the team from Manchester Airport Parking for three years consistently. This is perfect if you are traveling with a large group or children, or have many bags to bring with you. When you first drive up to the terminal, there are designated car drop-off points for valet parking. The airport's professional valet staff will greet you and park your car at a secure lot on the airport grounds. Your car will be available for pick-up at the same area when you return.

Heathrow Airport valet service also offers other perks, for an additional price. Travelers can purchase professional hand car washes and interior vacuuming for their vehicles while they are away. There is also valet parking service that is offered by British Airways and is available at the airport terminals 3 and 5. Both the Heathrow Airport and the British Airways valet parking areas are open from 5:00 in the morning until 9:30 at night.

For maximum convenience, parking at Heathrow Airport can be booked online in advance of your trip. This quick and easy service makes your trip a breeze and takes the hassle out of dealing with parking payment after your trip.
